THINGS went wild at a Winchester primary school when a West End star ran a dance workshop. Children at St Swithun’s Junior School got to grips with Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are, as choreographer Charlotte Bull encouraged them to engage with the book ‘in a way that captured their imaginations.’ Charlotte, who is currently performing in the West End musical We Will Rock You, helped them create and perform a 90-second dance piece. The initiative is run by West End in Schools, a theatre company that brings musical actors into primary schools.
