A NURSING home is celebrating after the official launch of a new garden gazebo.
The Flowerdown Nursing Home, on Harestock Road, is partnered with Sainsbury’s, who helped develop the garden for the residents, which is now in its third stage of development.
The Mayor of Winchester, Cllr Ernie Jeffs, and Mayoress Barbara Jeffs, attended the official opening and Easter party on Saturday. Mel Andrews, PR ambassador for Winchester city centre Sainsbury’s said it was a success.
She said: “It was nice to have the residents and their families there to celebrate making the garden a much nicer place to be.”
