Woman airlifted to hospital and major delays after crash
A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital after a car accident that is causing chaos on a Hampshire road.
The single vehicle crash happened between 6pm and 7pm on the A303 eastbound near Bullington Cross with the female driver sustaining serious injuries.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are working to clear the road but delays are building and motorists are being urged to stay in their vehicles.
All other traffic is warned to avoid the A303 and find alternative routes.
Hampshire Police have said it is likely the road will be closed for at least another two hours.
