A CYCLIST was injured in a collision with a vehicle in a Hampshire city centre this afternoon.
He was taken by ambulance to Southampton General Hospital with what a spokeswoman for the South Central Ambulance Service described as “non life-threatening injuries.”
St Cross Road in Winchester was shut in both directions at the junction with Ranelagh Road to allow paramedics to help the victim after the collision at 4pm.
The incident caused temporary tailbacks and disrupted bus services including Stagecoach's 69 service. The road is now clear and flowing smoothly.
