Firefighters tackle gas leak at Hampshire service station
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a gas leak at a service station in Hampshire.
A crew from Winchester fire station was called after reports of the leak at the station at Shroner Wood on the northbound carriageway of the M3, just north of Winchester.
The crew arrived at about 7.30pm and isolated the area of the leak before sealing off the leaky valve that had caused it.
The service station remained open during the incident.
