A motorcyclist has been killed on a Hampshire country road after colliding with a tree.
The 47-year-old biker was travelling on the main road from East Meon to West Meon and was negotiating a left-hand bend when his bike came off the road and collided with a tree.
He was treated at the site of the collision by a doctor from the Hampshire Air Ambulance but was pronounced dead at the scene.
Roads Policing officers are now appealing for witnesses to an incident which happened about 3.15pm yesterday.
The man is believed to be from Burgess Hill in West Sussex.
His family are being informed. A formal identification will take place tomorrow.
The man was riding with a second motorcyclist who was not involved in the collision.
