A BORN and bred Winchester musician is set for a homecoming gig at a popular city centre venue.
Ben Forrester, stage name Elijah Wolf, is part of independent alternative pop harmony The Gravity Drive with his wife Ava.
The two met in Winchester and moved to Bridport in 2004 – but for the first time they will be headlining the Railway Inn as part of promoting their latest single Hearts and Minds.
The former Perins schoolboy, Peter Symonds and Winchester School of Art student says he is looking forward to returning to Winchester.
“I really care about the venue and want to put on a good show - that’s something we always aim to do,” he said.
“I’m excited, nervously excited.”
The duo have seen their melodic laid-back tunes given air time on BBC Radio Two, Six Music and Introducing.
“This is the first gig we have done with that exposure.”
Support acts for the May 31 gig are Simon Kent, Date and Sam Woodnutt.
Tickets cost £5 via Paypal at info@elijahwolf.com.
