VILLAGERS have said goodbye to their village post office after 109 years.
The postmistress at Bishopstoke Post Office Carol Collins invited customers for drinks at the Spring Lane shop. Post office services have now moved to the Co-op nearby.
Carol has been there 16 years and it has been run by her family for 34 years as she took over from her father.
The move is part of the firm’s branch modernisation programme.
