FAMILY members have paid tribute to a man who died following a crash on the motorway.

Johnathan Brown, 30, from Basingstoke, died when his Peugot 208 was in collision with a Ford Fiesta on the M3 near Micheldever.

The family of Johnathan, known as John, has released the following statement: "In John, the world has lost an amazingly loving, partner, son, brother, uncle and friend, too soon. His family and friends will remember him forever.

"He brought a smile to so many people, he loved life and always made you smile when you were feeling down. He would always put people first before himself; he had a heart of gold. Heaven has claimed back one of its angels.

"He was taken away from his loved ones and friends too young and we will always hold him in our thoughts everyday. Rest in peace our angel and we will meet one day.

"Should anyone wish to make a donation for John, his chosen charity is the RSPCA."
