IT'S the time of year when everything goes off with a bang.

As Bonfire Night draws ever nearer, fireworks nights are being hosted around Hampshire, and the Daily Echo has come up with a comprehensive list to make sure you don't miss out.

See below for where you can get your fix of sparklers, catherine wheels and rockets.

November 5

  • Hythe will be putting its Guy Fawkes celebrations at with their Community Fireworks show at the Ewart Recreation Ground.

Gates open at 5pm where there will be fairgrounds rides and refreshments and a bar. The display kicks off at 6.30pm

For tickets (£3 for adults, £1.50 for children, families (two adults and up to three children £9.50). On the gate £5 per adult & £2.50 per child

  • Alresford’s torchlight procession through the town starts at 7pm before a bonfire at Arlebury Park at 7.30pm. Fireworks will light up the sky at 8pm.

Early bird tickets (available from ‘6 West’ newsagents, West St) £6 adults, £3 children. On the gate: £8 adults, £5 children. Contact 01962 734075 for more information.

  • Budding singers can have a go at karaoke at Totton’s fireworks show which starts at 6pm at Totton Sports Club in Southern Gardens. 

There will also be funfair rides, stalls and refreshments ahead of fireworks at 8pm.

  • Redbridge Community School is putting on a Firework Fiesta with a professional display and live music from the Foo Forgers. 

Children can enjoy fairground rides, bungee trampolines, glow sticks and refreshments.

November 6

  • Sponsored by Heart Radio the annual Ageas Bowl firework party looks set to be the biggest yet, with a 20-minute display with a soundtrack blasting around the stands.

Gates open on November 6 at 6pm, with the fireworks display due to start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £8 for adults, £6 for under 17s, under fives go free.

  •  The AFC Totton Firework Night Spectacular starts at 6pm with live music from the  Southampton Ukulele Jam.  Bar and Food available. Tickets are £5 Adults, £3 U16’s or £14 Family Ticket (2 adults & 2 U16’s). Tickets available from bar at Testwood Stadium or emailing chairman@afctotton.com. Anyone buying in advance gets entered into a prize draw.

November 7

  • On the grounds of Netley Abbey, this family spectacular will commence at 6pm on November 7. The display is due to start at 7.30pm with tickets costing £8 adult and £6 children.
  • Held at North Walls Recreation Ground, the 57th annual family fireworks display in Winchester will bring the whole city together.

All the money raised from the fireworks spectacular, on November 7, goes towards helping local organisations and charities. Gates open at 6pm with the celebration of the failed plot of Guy Fawkes starts at 7.45pm. Tickets cost £3.

  • Fairground rides and children’s activities will be available for families to enjoy ahead of the fireworks in Bishop's Waltham.

Held at the Hoe Road Recreation Ground on November 7 from 6pm, with the display due to start at 8pm. Tickets cost £4 for adults, £3 for children or £15 for a family of four.

  • An alternative to the annual Winchester Bonfire night, families are invited to the village of Easton. A small intimate display will be held at the Easton Village Hall, on Chapel Lane, on November 7.

The free event will offer up mulled wine, hot dogs, cakes and glow sticks will be on offer, with the fire due to be lit at 6.30pm.

  • Families will be able to take part in a bonfire pumpkin carving competition at the Silchester Association fireworks display.

Held at Silchester House, in Holly Lane on November 7 with the display due to start at 7pm. Tickets cost £7 per adult, £3.50 per child.

  • Live entertainment, fun fair and fireworks are at the centre of Southampton’s premier firework display.

Held at Mayflower Park, on Town Quay Road on November 7, the live music is due to start at 6pm. The fireworks display is due to start at 7.45pm with tickets costing £6 for adults, £4 for children and under five’s go free.
