FIREFIGHTERS had to break down a front door to rescue a young man trapped inside his Hampshire home.
A man in his 20s had become locked in at his house in Birch Court, Winchester, at 7.30pm last night.
Crews from Winchester fire station arrived and dismanted wood panelling on the door so they could access the lock and free him.
The man, who is believed to be on his way to the shops at the time, had been trapped for around an hour.
