THIEVES have stolen two quad bikes worth a total of £13,000 from a Hampshire college.

The offenders broke into a warehouse at Sparsholt College late on Thursday night, stealing two red Honda TRX420 FMD quad bikes, worth around £6,500 each.

The burglary is said to have taken place between 11.12pm and 11.40pm with the thieves cutting through two padlocks to get inside before wheeling the quad bikes into a van.

The vehicles are not road registered, but can easily be identified.

The whole incident was captured on CCTV.

Police claim that the van used in the burglary was a white Vauxhall Movano with a distinctive sliding loading door on the near side which has a window in it.

It is firmly believed that the offenders knew the site well due to the way in which they went straight to the building that the quad bikes were in and did not look around or take anything else.

Please contact Police on 101 quoting reference 44160021395 if you have any information that may assist in locating the quad bikes or identifying the offenders
