COLOURFUL costumes ruled the day at Winchester's Hat Fair yesterday.
Day two of the street theatre festival saw tens of thousands crowd the city's streets for circus entertainment and off-beat performances.
Stunning acrobatics from Tipping Point were the highlight for many, but each of the city's myriad venues offered something different.
There were even performances at Tom's Deli, a small Italian eatery off the beaten track of the High Street, where a piano was left in the street for the public to try their hand at.
The third and final day of the Hat Fair sees festivities move to the grass on Oram's Arbour, near Winchester railway station.
