Man sent back to prison after stealing power tools
A HAMPSHIRE man has been sent jailed again after breaching his terms of release.
Craig Ian Inwood, 36, of Keats Close, Winchester was told to keep in touch with a supervising officer, but failed to – and then got caught shoplifting.
Inwood admitted stealing two drills and a sander worth £389.49 in total from Homebase in Winnall.
Magistrates sentenced him for 42 days in prison because of his poor record.
Meanwhile fines of £1,128 owed since July 2016 were dropped by magistrates, and he will serve one day in detention in lieu of payment.
