WINCHESTER air cadets came together for a fun filled recruitment day.
The event, organised by Rachael and David Taylor saw the cadets take part in a range of activities demonstrating the different aspects of cadet life at their HQ in Hillier Way, Abbots Barton,
These included drills, drone flying, first aid demonstrations and bridge building.
The event was attended by all of the groups 37 cadets which range from 12 years old and in year eight to 18.
Winchester MP Steve Brine also came to the event and had a great time trying some of the cadets home cooked rations.
Civilian Instructor Rachael Taylor said that the event was a resounding success.
“Every single cadet went home with a smile on their face asking if we can do it again.
“From a member of staff perspective that’s the best possible outcome and because of this we have decided to make it an annual event,” she said.
