PEOPLE living at a travelling showman’s site in woods near Micheldever have come under fire for an alleged breach of planning rules.
Winchester City Council has been told that not all the occupants of Carousel Park are genuine show people – one of the conditions of planning consent for the site.
One resident advertises a business fixing paving and driveways, it has emerged.
A council spokesman said: “We are currently investigating the situation and considering what activities can lawfully be undertaken from the site.”
