Donate a pint and save a life

PEOPLE living in Alresford will be able to donate blood at a special walk-in session at Perins School on Wednesday.

Two sessions run from 1.30pm to 3.25pm and 4.30pm to 6.45pm at the school on Pound Hill.

Anyone aged between 17 and 65, weighing more than 50kg (7 stone 12lb) and in general good health could potentially start saving lives by becoming a blood donor.

There is no upper age limit for donors who have donated in the past two years.

VT used to allow us once a week to donate blood in works time. Now since the BAE takeover they have put an end to this, shame.
