Winchester University has taken more than 500 calls from A-level students desperate to get a place.
All of Winchester’s courses were full before the clearing process except for 50 additional places on a BA accounting and finance course.
Funding for the 50 places was recently secured from a central fund.
Potential students need to call 01962 827234.

I don't know what sort of courses Winchester has to offer but is going there really going to enhance your employment opportunities. At least when it was King Alfred's College it was a specialist teacher training institution. What is it now?
King Alfreds was more than just teacher training for a very long time before it changed names.
