FIRE crews have this morning called to tackle a blaze at a Hampshire barn.
The large 30m by 15m Dutch barn near Stockbridge has gone up with 40 tonnes of thatching straw and four items of farm machinery inside.
A total of 14 firefighters from Stockbridge and Sutton Scotney have been tackling the blaze, at a farm on the A3057 Stockbridge to King's Somborne road.
As well as fighting the flames, the crews have been working to make sure the fire does not spread to another neighbouring barn.

Shame for the farmer, hope he was insured and that none of the machinery was of historic interest.
