No money to restore buses
WINCHESTER City Council has no plans to restore bus services curtailed by Hampshire County Council.
The council says it is not in a position financially to support such services and that there would be practical issues as to deciding which areas would receive such support.
Council leader George Beckett has pledged to raise the matter with county council leader Ken Thornber.
