POLICE have stepped up patrols after reports of a window being broken after an air rifle was fired in Alresford.
Six youths were seen at the Stratton Bates Recreation Ground in Grange Road with the weapon at 5am on Sunday, April 8. Two police cars headed to the scene, but the group had already left.
Police said they had been alerted to one window being broken near the recreation ground. Call PC Nick Lark at Winchester police station on 0845 045 4545.
