Warnings of delays as roadworks close A34
One of Hampshire’s major commuter routes has been partially closed due to emergency road works.
One lane on the northbound carriageay of the A34 has been closed due to emergency repairs and subsidence on between A272 North Of Winchester and A30/A303 at Bullington Cross.
A 4 metre long trench on the carriageway collapsed.
It is hoped the road will re-open by 13:00, but further work will be needed overnight. Earlier queues have now eased.
