The children of Stroud produced a spectacular performance of Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s Cats to round off the school year.

The cast of 90, representing all the children in the three top years, were transformed through make up and elaborate costumes into dancing and singing felines.

Rebecca Kelly, aged 13, brought great emotion to the production with her singing of the famous song Memory. Genevieve Wateridge and Annabel Smeeton (pictured) acted and sang with great professionalism in the roles of Bombalurina and Demeter respectively.

“Such an ambitious project was only possible due to the dedication and expertise of the production team of Annie Sanger-Davies, Sarah Dodds and Tanya Fay,” commented headmaster Alastair Dodds. “The experience will live with the children for ever.’
