Students at Redbridge Community School enjoyed an array of entertainment at their own Party in the Park event staged at the Cuckmere Lane campus.

Teachers set up the festival site that included a number of fun fair style games including a coconut shy, inflatable darts, human wrecking ball and bungee running.

Pupils were entertained by student bands whilst free burgers and hot dogs were served up by staff.

The event was a reward for those students who had consistently performed well in behaviour, attendance and progressed in lessons.

Head teacher Jason Ashley said it was a great way to reward the hard work of pupils.

He said: “By working hard all term they have earned their ticket to this event.”
