TALENTED young musicians fused classical and electronic styles for a dynamic concert celebrating famous films.
More than 200 children and teenagers from the Showcase Performance Company starred in a sell-out concert in Central Hall, Southampton.
The Night At the Movies featured music from motion pictures ranging from Godzilla, Jurassic Park, James Bond and The Lion King, lit up by spectacular pyrotechnics.
There were performances from the company’s drumming academy plus orchestra Cordelectra playing electronic violins and cellos. They received rapturous applause from the crowd.
Company founder Alex Pope said: “They were fantastic and the audience really loved them.
“They are the stars of the show and have really grown in confidence.”
