BUDDING entrepreneurs had the chance to shine at a presentation event at Itchen College.
Students had pitched their ideas after being challenged to come up with start-up businesses that had a social purpose.
Throughout their ten-week journey, the students considered and were inspired by famous entrepreneurs such as Richard Branson and received hands-on support from local organisations such as Red Funnel and Southampton Solent University who voluntarily came and shared their expertise.
The scheme was run by the organisation Entrepreneurs for Good, which was set up by Nina Kelly to provide learning areas for young people that are not covered within the standard educational curriculum.
