IT’S one of the hottest tickets in town not to mention one of the hardest fought competitions on the school calendar.

Youngsters across Hampshire are just hours away from taking to the stage for the first in a series of heats in Rock Challenge 2015.

Tonight’s event at O2 Guildhall Southampton will see pupils from Brune Park Community School in Gosport, Chamberlayne College for the Arts in Weston, Richard Taunton Sixth Form College in Shirley, Testwood Sports College in Totton and students from Upper Shirley High take to the stage.

The Daily Echo’s photographers will be busy capturing some of the special performances on camera every night this week.

Make sure you pick up a copy of tomorrow’s Daily Echo to see our coverage and visit dailyecho.co.uk to view our pictures and video clips.

A special edition of the Daily Echo will also be on sale at the venue every night this week except Wednesday - don't forget to pick up your souvenir copy!
