A GCSE photography student from Applemore College, has won First Prize in the Hampshire Junior Young Farmers Photography Competition.
Year 9 pupil Grace Wappet-Madden who has been attending weekly meetings of Young Farmers at the Beaulieu Out of Town Centre for the last year, entered her photo into the Hampshire Young Farmers Summer Competitions Day held at Sparsholt Countryside Day.
Grace has also been awarded the Best Junior Girl 2014 Cup for her participation and contribution to Beaulieu Young Farmers.
Grace is very involved in all the Young Farmers’ activities including going to different farms and shows and stock judging competitions. She said: “I like the atmosphere at Young Farmers ‘because everyone doesn’t always know everything, so we’re always learning.”
