STUDENTS are certainly enjoying their time at a Southampton university, according to a new league table.
Southampton Solent University has come second in the 2015 University Sex League – a table that reveals the average number of sexual partners per student per university.
And according to the results, students at Solent get intimate with 8.2 partners during their time at university.
The table is calculated by lifestyle website Hexjam who asked thousands of students across the country to spill the beans on their sex lives through a survey.
Leeds Beckett University topped the chart with 8.45 partners per student, although that was a drop from last year’s champion Brighton University where students had more than 10.5 sexual partners on average.
Students at the University of Southampton paled in comparison to their Solent rivals, notching just over four sexual partners per student, putting the university in 67th place.
Southampton Solent University declined to comment on the table.
