FIREFIGHTERS had to go to the rescue of a teenager who became trapped inside a Hampshire school when he climbed over a fence and dislocated his shoulder.

The 18-year-old was out playing football with friends on the all-weather pitch by Bay House School in Gosport, when he decided to climb over the fence into the locked school grounds.

On doing so he dislocated his shoulder, leaving him unable to get himself out and as the grounds were within a perimeter fence, nobody else could get in.

A crew from Gosport fire station were called to his aid just after 9.30pm and they had to dismantle the gate and cut the padlocks to allow paramedics to get to him.

He was taken by ambulance to hospital with a suspected shoulder break and dislocation.
