Students at Westgate school in Winchester have been showing off their sporting prowess.
Pupils enjoyed successes in numerous sporting activities, including canoeing, athletics and cricket along with having a number of national, regional and county representatives attending the school.
Year 9 pupils started the winning streak by securing both second and first places at the ‘Hampshire School Games’ in canoeing, the B team claimed the top podium position.
At the Winchester & Eastleigh District Athletics event, five pupils were district champions in their events.
The Year 8 boys team were crowned District Champions, the all yeargroup boys achieved third place, as did the school overall.
The U15 Girls Cricket Team were only narrowly defeated in the Cricket County Cup Final clinching the runners up spot.
