CREATIVE students from a Hampshire College showcased their artistic talents at the annual arts and photomedia show.

The three-day exhibition featured a diverse range of work created by students studying photography, fine art, media, textiles, graphics and ceramics.

Tom Hamilton, head of photomedia at the college, commented: "The standard of work this year has been outstanding, I am very proud of what our students have achieved.”

Fourteen of the students won certificates for their achievements and the very top students received prizes.

A Level Graphics student, Liam Callebout, winner of the Visual Arts Student Best in Show, said: "I thought the art exhibition was really impressive and of a very high standard. I feel very honoured to receive this award and am grateful to my Graphic art tutors at Brock for providing a supportive and creative environment in which my artistic talents could be explored and freely expressed. My goal is to enter the art arena as an illustrator.”

Holly Ainslie, Fine Art student and winner of the Visual Arts Student Achievement award, commented: "The Art and Design course at Brock has been fantastic! The amazing tutoring offered to me over the past two years has helped me develop and expand my abilities within my work. I am so honoured to have been recognised for something that I love doing, and I am truly grateful for all the support given to me over my time here”.

Other top prize winners included students, James Docking (Photomedia student of the Year) and Storm Davis (Photomedia Student Prize).

Commendation Certificates were awarded to: Textiles – Agnes Farmer and Hannah Stote; Fine Art – Rebecca Allenby and Agnes Farmer; Graphics – Amy Lee; Level 2 – Song Song; Level 3 – Eleanor Mantle; Level 3 Extended – Georgia Jacob and Madison Weight; Photomedia – Fred Battison, Megan Woodall, Sian Overton and Jenna Carter.
