A TEENAGER has been arrested after a fire at a school, police have revealed.
The 16-year-old boy from the Isle of Wight was arrested on Friday, July 17 on suspicion of arson.
He was questioned in police custody and later released on bail until October 16, 2015 pending further enquiries.
Officers are continuing to investigate a suspected arson at The Island Learning Centre, at Berry Hill, Lake, near Sandown on the Isle of Wight.
Police were called to the scene at around 12.25am on July 17 after a school minibus caught fire, which spread to the school, causing extensive damage to the whole building.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the fire, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, between 11.30pm on Thursday, July 16 and 12.15am on Friday, July 17.
Police have carried out house-to-house enquiries in the area of the school.
