THE FINALE performance of a Southampton school’s production of Bugsy Malone is being staged tonight.

The 40-strong cast and crew at Cantell school have been performing to sell-out audiences this week and take to the stage for the final time this evening.

The group have been rehearsing for five months both at weekends and after school to ensure the performance is note and word perfect.

Featuring the usual mix of performance, singing, dancing, set design and costumes – Bugsy 2016 tells the story of the much-loved ‘70s film about gangsters in the prohibition era by a talented cast featuring students from all year groups. A handful of tickets are left for tonight’s show that begins at 7pm at the Violet Road campus.
