TWO of the world’s biggest movie stars received a heroes’ welcome as they gathered at a Hampshire waterside spot for filming of a new blockbuster film.
Dozens of people crammed outside the gates of the Royal Navy Submarine Museum in Gosport to watch action hero Mark Wahlberg and silver screen legend Sir Anthony Hopkins arrive.
They are filming the new sequel Transformers: The Last Knight which is the fifth film in the 3D science fiction-action film based on the Transformers toy line.
Excitement grew as the stars, supercars and an entourage of crews arrived.
It comes 24 hours after star Matt Le Blanc was also seen in the county at Swanwick Marina where he was apparently filming an episode of the BBC's Top Gear which he fronts.
The Transformers film - directed by Michael Bay - is set to be released in June next year and also stars Isabela Moner, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson and is the sequel of the 2014 movie 'Transformers: Age of Extinction'.
