MINISTRY of Science Live bursts on to stage at Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium this weekend with their unique 45-minute action-packed explosive show.

Ministry of Science Live is a renowned science communication specialist in the UK performing live shows in theatres, festivals, cruise ships and schools throughout the year. The team aim to inspire children who see the show, so they go away excited by science and want to learn more about everything around them.

Ben Ward, chief executive at the centre, said: “Ministry of Science Live is not your ordinary science show – it comes with a bang and plenty of exciting entertainment for the whole family.

“I’m thrilled that they’re going to be here at Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium – their philosophy reflects our mission to inspire young people into science, and the shows will help raise vital funds for the Science Centre as we are an independent, self-funded educational charity.”

Winchester Science Centre continues its theme of interactive live shows on May 20-21 with the return of the BBC’s Jon Chase, who will be exploring the mysterious effects of everyday forces in Fantastic Forces.

In addition to the live show, visitors can enjoy full access to the centre’s two floors of hands-on interactive science exhibits, the Invention Studio and the outdoor picnic and play area.
