Professional acting and performance
Performing Arts at City College is not all singing and dancing. Their highly practical courses offer quality, professional training in a broad spectrum of skills to prepare students for careers as a performer in either live or recorded media, on-stage or screen.
Students develop key performance skills including acting techniques, voice-over, body and movement including stage combat, contemporary dance, and are encouraged to develop experimental ideas into original work.
They have the luxury of performing live shows in the College’s 240-seat theatre and working in their recording studio to perfect their voice-over acting skills, opening up the opportunities to work on TV and radio adverts or animated films and video games.
Many successfully progress to prestigious drama schools and universities and then into work as professionals.
