STUDENTS from King Edward VI School toasted another outstanding set of results, as they notched up a 100 per cent pass rate.
An impressive 88.6 per cent of students passed their A levels with A* to B grades, with a quarter of all A levels taken at the school awarded an A*.
Head teacher Julian Thould said: “King Edward VI School is delighted with its results.
“These are exceptional results and show what sustained hard work and excellent teaching can achieve.
“Many students have done outstandingly well with nearly a half of all candidates achieving three A grades or more.
“Nine students have achieved their offers for Oxford and Cambridge.”
One of those was Mike Ellis who picked up four A*’s and an A, as well as a distinction in the Advanced Extension Award.
