Pupils savour Ryan’s slice of gymnastic excellence

IT'S certainly not the kind of thing you normally expect to see in a school hall.

For children at Fryern Junior School in Chandler's Ford it was a real treat to see top world gymnast Ryan Bradley in action.

The Commonwealth and European medal-winning champion dived over eight youngsters holding only loaves of bread for protection.

The demonstrations was organised by breadmakers Warburtons and SuperSchools, an organisation promoting the importance of children's exercise.

Ryan Bradley shows his skills as from left, PE teacher Hayley Tucknott, Brandon Lillie, Hayley Gilling, Tegan Hawkins, Callum Gray, Joshua De kock, Louise Downie and Charlie Allen lie underneath his dive.
