AS family days out go, you would have to be ‘baa-rmy’ to miss it.

Sparsholt College near Winchester opened its gates for its annual lambing weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

Visitors flocked to the campus, home to a host of animals, including around 350 ewes.

During the lambing season, the college expects to receive more than 650 deliveries.

Visitors were able to view exotic species such as wallabies and red pandas, along with reptiles and amphibians. Other animals at the centre include goats, donkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens.

Pictured are students Bertie Newman and Jim Walker showing lambs to children.
