Presentation: Countess of Brecknock Hospice director Sarah Redhead (left) receives a quilt from The Loft Embroiders at Andover Museuem.

THE Loft Embroiderers have presented a hand-embroidered quilt to the Countess of Brecknock Hospice.

The cover came to the group in 12 sections with hand-painted colour charts and was embroidered with cross-stitch by Paula Payne and other members of the group, which meets every Tuesday at Andover Museum.

All the sections were then carefully assembled by Pat Simmonds and the group's tutor, Pam Prince.

The Loft Embroiderers hope that the hospice will be able to offer the quilt as a prize, or auction it, in order to raise funds.

From what I can see, it looks great. Do you have an up-close, larger picture, so that we can see the details?
