COMMERCIAL property firm Keygrove Chartered Surveyors have given £1,000 to the Daily Echo #MatchMyMoney campaign.

They’re the tenth organisation to help the campaign to build a dedicated children’s A&E at Southampton hospital.

Earmarked for opening in 2018, the unit will be the first step in what will become an entire children’s hospital.

#MatchMyMoney is a call to arms from celebrity actors Sarah Parish and husband James Murray, who lost their first daughter Ella-Jayne in 2009 and set up the Murray Parish Trust in her memory. Their #2MillionSteps campaign aims to raise the first half of the money needed to build the children’s A&E.

Central government have promised to match the rest.

The Daily Echo #MatchMyMoney initiative aims to raise £40,000 towards campaign, with the Barker-Mill Foundation matching every penny raised of the £40,000. To donate go to https://mydonate.bt.com/events/bmf-dailyechoappeal/384531.
