PART of Southampton Docks was evacuated today after part of a crane collapsed and fell on to a container ship.
No-one was hurt in the incident which saw the boom of the crane crashing down on to the Kyoto Express.
Bosses at Southampton Container Terminals confirmed that operations had been suspended and the emergency services called as a precaution after the incident at about 4.35pm.
