    Nine-car pile-up brings chaos to M-way

MOTORISTS are being warned to avoid a major Hampshire motorway this evening after a nine-car pile-up brought it to a standstill.

The crash happened on the southbound carriageway of the M3 between junctions 11 and 12 shortly after 2.30pm.

Police closed lane three of the carriageway while the cars were moved to the hard shoulder.

Two people suffered minor injuries in the crash and were treated at the scene by an ambulance crew.

Another accident on the northbound carriageway shortly afterwards in between the same junctions brought further chaos to the motorway.

Both lanes have since been reopened but rush hour traffic is still heavy.

I think writer/editor of the vague headline of this article could safely name the actual 'M-way' without baffling the average reader.

One of the biggest problems with these crashes is the number of complete morons who brake to almost a stop on the opposite carriageway to have a good gawp at a crashed car. These are then the cretins who write-in bumping their gums about the tailback of traffic! It is a bit old fashioned I know but looking at the road ahead does actually prevent a lot of these crashes occurring. Give it a try!!

Oh dear, yet another accident, proably caused by some moron driving far too fast in the bad weather conditions we had today, the police should give an instant ban to the driver responsible!!!
