A PILOT suffered minor injuries when his kit aircraft failed to take off and ended up crashing into a hedge on a Hampshire airfield.
The 65-year-old male pilot's Rans/6 single engine aircraft lost its propeller and undercarriage and suffered structural damage after it became embedded in the hedge on the edge of Chilbolton airfield, near Andover.
The air accident investigation branch has launched an investigation into the accident that happened yesterday afternoon at 2.21pm.
