THE Link Gallery at the University of Winchester is preparing to host a new exhibition this month inspired by the natural environment and featuring work by a Hampshire artist.

Entitled Slow Art for Fast Times' the exhibition from May 21 until June 13 will show the latest work by Otterbourne artist Etienne de Villiers.

Inspiration for his colourful paintings came from his time growing up in South Africa.

Meanwhile the current exhibition on show at the gallery, called "Scene/Unseen" runs until today and features work by Hampshire artists Lizzie McKellar and Mike Perkins.

The Link Gallery can be found in the West Downs Centre, University of Winchester, Romsey Road, Winchester. Admission is free.
