COMMUNITY groups and projects in the Thornhill area of Southampton still have time to apply for funding of up to £10,000.

Regeneration group Thornhill Plus You is allocating up to £50,000 to one-off projects that look to benefit the health of people living in the community.

Previous awards have been made to help run sports clubs and advice clubs on healthy eating for parents and residents.

The deadline for applications is tomorrow, and residents, not-for-profit organisations and charities are being urged to apply.

Residents will be able to vote for who they think should get the funding at a special event on June 28.

For more information call Paula Windebank on 023 8091 5402.
