A MAN has this afternoon been convicted of the murder of Southampton teenager Lewis Singleton.
Rikki Johnson, 19, nodded as the jury foreman at Winchester Crown Court said they had unanimously found guilty of murder and violent disorder.
Fellow defendants Sercan Calik, 19, has also unanimously been convicted of the manslaughter of Lewis although he was cleared of charges of murder and violent disorder.
However, the jury have been sent home for a third evening as they are still considering charges of murder and manslaughter against a 17-year-old who cannot be named who was earlier found guilty of violent disorder.
A 16-year-old defendant who cannot been named for legal reasons was unanimously cleared of all charges.
