TOWN councillors in Alresford are pressing for traffic calming in the town centre.
The council has written to Hampshire County Council highways department in Winchester asking that 20mph speed limits be introduced on Broad Street, West and East streets, Jacklyns and Sun lanes which all currently have a 30mph limit.
