THE firefighters of the future had the chance to meet a Hampshire fire team.
Children from Farley Nursery on Westley Lane in Sparsholt met the crew from Winchester Fire Station.
The budding firefighters were able to look at the fire engine's hoses, try out its blue lights and even got the opportunity to get in the front seat.
The older children from the nursery were also given an explanation from the crew on how the trucks are filled up with water.
Nursery manager Lisa Humby said: "One of our topics at the moment is people who help us and keep us safe, so it was a fabulous day."
